Pegawai Tauliah Jangka Pendek
Perkhidmatan - Ditauliahkan selama 10 tahun dan dibenarkan menyambung perkhidmatan selama 3 tahun. Permohonan menyambung perkhidmatan selepas 13 tahun boleh dimajukan ke pihak atasan untuk pertimbangan dan kelulusan. Boleh memohon sebagai Pegawai Tauliah Tetap selepas berkhidmat selama 5 tahun dan memenuhi syarat-syarat yang ditetapkan.
Pegawai Kadet - Akan ditauliahkan dengan pangkat Leftenan Muda atau setaraf.
Pegawai Graduan - Akan ditauliahkan dengan pangkat Leftenan atau setaraf.
Pegawai Tugas Ikhtisas - Akan ditauliahkan dengan pangkat Kapten atau setaraf.
Kenaikan Pangkat - Setelah menghadiri kursus-kursus tertentu, lulus peperiksaan kenaikan pangkat, kekosongan jawatan dan disokong oleh pegawai atasan. Senarai Tugas - Pegawai-pegawai terbahagi kepada kategori senarai seperti berikut: - Senarai Tugas Am >> Pegawai-pegawai yang ditauliahkan daripada Pegawai Kadet dan Pegawai Graduan yang ditauliahkan secara terus.
- Senarai Tugas Ikhtisas >> Pegawai-pegawai yang mempunyai kepakaran/kelulusan profesional di dalam bidang-bidang tertentu dan ditauliahkan secara terus.
- Senarai Tugas Khas >> Pegawai-pegawai yang ditauliahkan secara terus daripada askar laskar (anggota biasa) kepada pegawai.
Pegawai Tauliah Tetap Perkhidmatan - Jangkamasa perkhidmatan adalah tetap sehingga umur persaraan (mengikut pangkat) dan berpencen. Pegawai-pegawai lulusan ATMA akan ditauliahkan sebagai Pegawai Tauliah Tetap dengan pangkat Leftenan atau setaraf. Pegawai Graduan - Memiliki Ijazah/Diploma dalam sebarang jurusan yang diiktiraf oleh Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam.
- Kepujian di dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Inggeris dan Matematik di peringkat SPM.

Memiliki kelulusan seperti yang dinyatakan di bawah dan mendapat kepujian di dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Inggeris dan Matematik di peringkat SPM. Kejuruteraan
